Happy New Year to everyone and what a strange but amazing year it has been ! It started out with hope of an end in sight to the Covid virus and even though we had a lovely summer of less worrying about the virus as a lot of people had taken the vaccine, the new variants were waiting in the wings to come back at us later in the year.
I have been very lucky this year to have received quite a bit of support and help this year from various organisations like DLRArts Dept were I received a grant and Visual Artists Ireland who organised so many online talks and discussions for Artists. These online supports have been invaluable to me, keeping me connected to other artists and learning always learning. Ceramics Ireland also give so much support and the continued running of their wonderfully curated exhibitions in amazing venues like Rathfarnham Castle and Dublin Castle has been inspiring.
