Porcelain Sculptural installation videos and kinetic works by Andrea Kavanagh completed 2019-2022. ” Inner Sphere” 2022, sits quietly in a transparent cube and will not move but this piece and pieces like it can be free hanging if the space allows and lifted from their cube taking on a kinetic dimension.  My long hanging porcelain pieces are light and respond gently to the air around them and naturally create a kinetic sculpture, see “Cascade” below. Some of my work has been site specific responding to a particular place and making work in response to that space, see “Magnolia Climbing” 2021. See videos below for a better visual explanation.
